Money Plus / Privacy policy
Money Plus privacy.
Last updated 1 October 2026.
Publisher and scope
Money Plus is published by Kirazone, operated by VICHET SOPHEAKTRA. Contact support@kirazone.xyz for privacy questions or feedback. This policy describes Money Plus on your phone. The Kirazone website and KiraZone ID have their own policy; Money Plus does not use a KiraZone ID account.
Your records stay on your phone
Wallets, income and spending, transfers, bills, debts and monthly plans, budgets, savings goals, exchange rates and change history are stored in the app’s private local database. Salary worksheets, jobs, schedules, saved pay and rounding rules, work and leave entries, payslips, review notes, correction history and received-pay matches are local too. Money Plus does not send these records, labels, amounts, IDs, notes or photos to Kirazone or Google. All finance features work offline.
Photos and reminders
Photos are accessed only when you choose a receipt or goal photo. Copies are stored inside Money Plus; original gallery photos remain under your gallery’s control. Optional bill and payday reminders are scheduled on your phone. They can show a bill or job name on a lock screen or connected watch, depending on device settings. Payday notifications do not include a pay amount. Payslip follow-up plans are shown inside the app and do not send messages.
Optional Android payment suggestions
The payment-alert reader is off by default. After the app’s explanation and your Android Notification Access approval, it checks notifications locally for likely outgoing payments. It retains only the amount, currency, source app and time for a suggestion; full notification text is not saved. A suggestion changes no wallet until you review it and choose a wallet and category. It can miss or misread payments. Turning it off stops the reader; Android’s separate access grant can be revoked in device settings. This feature is unavailable on iPhone.
Backups you choose to make
Export backup creates a passphrase-protected file on your phone using Argon2id and AES-256-GCM, then opens the system share menu. The file leaves the device only for a destination you choose. It includes finance and work records, change history, deleted record rows, receipt and goal photos, payment suggestions and portable settings. It excludes any age choice retained from an earlier test build and does not enable the payment-alert reader. Kirazone cannot recover a forgotten passphrase. Keep it separate from the backup. Restore requires an empty finance and work record set. Older plaintext backups remain importable and should be treated as sensitive. New backup payload version 2 requires this version or a newer compatible app.
Device backups and security
Money Plus configures Android to exclude its app storage from automatic cloud backup and Android device transfer; use Export backup for intentional migration. Actual operating-system behavior can vary, including transfer paths not controlled by the app. On iPhone, app Documents may be included in iCloud or computer backups if enabled in iOS settings. Those backups are controlled by you and Apple. The local database is protected by the operating system’s app sandbox and your device lock; it is not separately encrypted by Money Plus. Someone who can unlock the phone and open the app can see your records. No security measure guarantees absolute protection.
Audience and the ad-free release
Money Plus is intended for people age 13 and above. Teens can learn savings and budgeting with a parent or guardian. Money Plus is not directed to children under 13. The first release is free and has no ads in either English or Khmer. It includes no advertising or advertising-consent SDK, and it does not ask for an age range or exact birthday. All finance features are available to every user. An age choice saved by an earlier test build can remain unused in local settings; it is excluded from exports and removed by Erase local data.
Other services and permissions
Money Plus has no analytics, crash-reporting, AI service or bank integration. It does not request contacts, location, advertising ID or iPhone tracking permission. The app does not transmit your finance records to Kirazone or an advertising service. Files you intentionally share and messages you send to support follow the destinations you choose.
Deleting your records
Deleting an individual financial record removes it from active balances and history but can retain a hidden deleted row and change history. More → Erase local data removes local finance and work records, hidden rows, change history, settings including any earlier age choice, app-owned photos, payment suggestions, scheduled reminders and app temporary files. This is permanent. It cannot erase exported files shared outside the app, original gallery photos, older device backups, Android’s Notification Access grant. Manage those copies and permissions separately.
Support and your choices
If you email support, Kirazone receives the message and contact details you choose to send and uses them to respond. Please do not include financial records, backup files, passphrases or passwords. Kirazone cannot access or delete records stored only on your phone; use the app’s local controls. For privacy questions or rights requests available under applicable law, email support@kirazone.xyz. A parent or guardian can contact support about a child’s use without sending the child’s financial records.
Changes
We will update the policy and its date before a material change to how Money Plus handles information. Relevant changes will also be described in the app’s store release notes.
